Location Scouting
When it comes to figuring out where to film, I have to keep in consideration the equipment and the prices. So that I don't blow my budget on anything I don't have to. I was also worried about the quaility of sound as that is the only thing carrying my podcast, which is some what intimidating because sound hasn't always been my strong point in my projects. I put that down to both location,quality of microphones and my personal skills. However after doing my experimentation in the studio I am almost certain and very confident that I won't have any major issues in regards to recording. I put this down to the equipment and location, which was recorded at Big Boss Media. I've recorded audio at the studio available at Stanmore and have never been pleased with the final affect. However I still have to consider them both, just in case, as you can see below.
Big Boss Media

Big Boss Media is an independently run by business partners Michale Nathan and Terry Mc'neil. The studio is located in Trinity house Business park in Wembley. The studio has three sound proofed treated rooms, including a recording booth, mixing room and a waiting area. The waiting room has a water cooler and a computer available for you to prepare lyrics and other documents.

They usually charge £20 per hour, but because I know the two owners they're letting me use it for free for each session. The studio is far, but can be accessed by a 182 bus or a train. |
Stanmore College
Stanmore college has one room which is treated, it has limited facilities and little to no room in the treated room space.
